We received a review today on Facebook that got us thinking... your work ethic ends up becoming your reputation. Our friend Ron just bought a home using our very own Jackie Houseman. We have always believed she was one of the best, and now everyone else knows it....

“Are you planning to buy or sell a home? If you are, then you need to contact Jackie Houseman of Rob Brooks Realty. I recently had to move when my owner decided to put the townhome I was renting up for sale. I contacted Jackie to help me find a place to buy. I am a Marine Officer and have moved more times than I care to admit. Having had several experiences with real estate agents, I will be honest and say I didn’t have high expectations. Based on previous experiences, I anticipated having to do a lot of research myself, and having to listen to her try to convince me to buy every home we looked at.
I could not have been more WRONG!
It was very clear from the first day that working with Jackie was going to be a much different experience than the others. What makes her different? Here are the things I noticed:

1) Attention to Detail. Jackie asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for. Not the standard questions, but questions that let me know she was really trying to find a place that I would not only be happy with but excited about. Once Jackie had an idea, she did all the research for me and listed features that each place had according to my desires, must haves, and won’t accepts. She didn’t try to ignore anything about the property, as I have seen many agents do. This let me know that I was getting good information that was objective to make a decision from. When it came to the contract, Jackie’s attention to details was exceptional. She brought up things I would have never thought of, and as a result of that, I had a successful buy with NO remorse.

2) Integrity. Jackie never tried to convince me to buy any of the homes I viewed. EVERY real estate agent I have worked with in the past has made comments like “this place is perfect for you”, “you should definitely buy this place”, “I can see you living here.” It was very easy to tell that their goal was to get me to buy a home, and that they had homes they were in favor of. What was missing was the agents’ desire to find me a home that I would be happy with, and excited about. Jackie was clearly more concerned with me finding what I was looking for, not the “sale” and not her financial gain. Jackie provided honest information both in favor of and against homes we viewed, all based on my criteria. She did not try to convince me, or sway me at any point. This is something I used to believe all real estate agents would do, but I can assure you they do not! Jackie does, and when you work with her, you know she cares most about you getting the home you want.

3) Hard working. Jackie surprised me with how much work she put into finding me the right home. In prior experiences, I found myself needing to constantly pull information from my agent. Jackie was proactive and assertive. When I would contact her, she would get back to me very quickly. She would also check in with me and give me updates on what was on the market. The best part is that she was never overbearing. I never felt I was being pushed, instead I felt like I was being taken care of. Jackie is by far the hardest working real estate agent I have ever met.

I cannot say enough about Jackie as a real estate agent. I can tell you she is the only real estate agent I have ever endorsed, and I do so happily. She will be my only option for agents in the future. If you are in the market for a home or are looking to sell one then do yourself a favor, contact Jackie Houseman. You will be glad you did!"

Thank you, Ron, for proving to us once again that our work ethic becomes our reputation.
