Located on the Fairpoint Peninsula in Santa Rosa County lies the city of Gulf Breeze. It's known for its abundant waterfront properties, excellent schools and Gulf Breeze Zoo. History & Activities 

Gulf Breeze derived its name from the Gulf Breeze Cottages and Store. In 1936 the Gulf Breeze Cottages and Store established the first post office. The area still holds a piece of its history even in the shell mounds that were left by Native Americans in the early years of settlement.

The land area of Gulf Breeze is surrounded on the North, South and West sides by three major bodies of water, making it a popular place for water sports and water activities. It is known for having one of the best boat ramps in the area that gives direct access to the East Bay, Escambia Bay and Gulf of Mexico.

The Gulf Breeze Zoo attracts locals and tourists every year with its variety of animals and fifty acre facility. Events are held throughout the year, giving people many an option of things to do in the area.

A Place To Call Home

Highway 98 is the only highway and commercial road that runs through Gulf Breeze. Though the growth rate has increased and the city develops annually, many of the residents work nearby in the city of Pensacola. 

Gulf Breeze, located not far from major tourist cities such as Pensacola and Destin, is a thriving area on the Emerald Coast that presents much beauty, many an activity and a quiet residential community.
